Approximately 100 design manholes and tourist spots in the 62 wards of Tokyo. You can get "stamps and points" at each spot. Please note that the number of points you can earn varies depending on the area.
*At the start of the rally on July 12th (Friday), we will start with approximately 100 spots, and we plan to have all spots (approximately 200 spots) open to the public by late September.

We will be exhibiting replicas of design manhole covers and a map of design manholes in Tokyo, as well as hosting a talk show with manhole-loving guests!

・Screening of a video introducing design manhole covers, etc.

She is a "manhole-loving voice actress" who became fascinated with manhole designs after seeing an alfonsino manhole while traveling.
She has experience participating in manhole design competitions.

Manhole enthusiast Shoji Morimoto
After coming across a certain manhole cover in Nagano Prefecture, he became interested in manhole covers. He is the creator of the term "manhole lover" to refer to manhole cover fans, and the phrase "Nice manhole!", which means "That's a nice cover!" He is currently spreading the appeal of manhole covers through lectures at manhole events such as the Manhole Summit, books, TV appearances, SNS, and web classes for children. From 2021, he will also be cooperating with the TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally.

Freelance announcer Yamamoto Michelle Nozomi
A "manhole fan" female announcer fascinated by Japanese manhole covers.
Born in America and raised in Europe. After working as a journalist at NHK, she is now a newscaster and reporter for NHK International Broadcasting Station.
She is also a visiting professor at the University of Technology, and a part-time lecturer at Hosei University, Wako University, and Niigata Sangyo University correspondence courses.
Her hobby is searching for manhole covers in between filming around the country.
She has spoken at the Manhole Summit in Saitama, Ikeda, Tokorozawa, and Okazaki, and has appeared in many books, on television and radio.

Get stamps around the spots! This rally can be stamped by GPS authentication. While looking at the map of the digital rally site, go around each spot and tap the "stamp" button on the screen to get a stamp! The number of points for stamps varies depending on the location, and you can apply for a lottery to win prizes by accumulating the specified number of points.
